Fans of the popular series of construction sets for girls have recently noticed that the brand “Girlfriends” increasingly began to go under the name “Friends”. At first, this was explained by the inclusion of male characters in the prefabricated toys. Now it turned out that the Danish manufacturer “Lego” decided to carry out a radical reboot of the project.

This decision is quite understandable, because 5 girlfriends, who for almost 10 years were the main characters of “brick” stories, grew up with their admirers. And this means that the time has come to give way to the new rising generation.

So, just the other day, LEGO made an official presentation of the changes to the LEGO Friends themed world that will take place in January 2023. A new line logo has been introduced, as well as 5 starter kits featuring brand new residents of Heartlake City.

Central to innovation LEGO Friends 2023 years will take 8 mini-dolls. Interestingly, some of the minifigures are presented as children of former characters.

Each minifigure, of course, has a name:

• Paisley,
• Autumn,
• Alia,
• A lion,
• Leanne,
• Ollie,
• Zach,
• Nova.

Thus, sets from a purely “girlish theme” are transformed into a general direction with fascinating stories from the lives of girls and boys.

The premiere appearance of new characters on the stage is expected already in the first five designers, which will arrive on store shelves by January 1, 2023. So parents do not have to rack their brains over what to give their child for the New Year. Because one of the following sets can be a pleasant surprise for both girls and boys:

• 41724 LEGO Paisley House – 185 pieces and 3 mini-dolls. Price: 44.99 euros;

It is also noteworthy that from February 2023, the premiere of a special animated television series will begin. This film project aims to bring young fans closer to lego friends with characters of the updated thematic world.
