LEGO offers a set with a new transformer

This Lego set was first talked about at the end of 2021. Various predictions have been made online regarding the figure of the legendary Autobot. And now there is an opportunity to get acquainted with the concept of the Danish manufacturer according to the announced set 10302 LEGO Transformer Optimus Prime.
Pictures have already been published on the official website, from which you can understand that the image of a transformer from the films of the 80s was taken as the basis for the development of the combined model. Although many design fans suggested that a more modern version would just be used.
The features of the novelty should include 2 points.
Firstly, the outwardly massive constructor consists of only 1508 parts, which is rare for such models – usually there are more than 2300 “brick” elements in sets. However, the toy is detailed and functional, plus it comes with an ion blaster, an Energon axe, an Energon cube, and an Autobot Matrix of Leadership stored in Optimus’ chest chamber.
Secondly, the toy really belongs to the transformers in the full sense of the term. But in order to transform a 35-centimeter Autobot into a truck or vice versa, you don’t need to disassemble the toy and redo something at all. This transformation is carried out by standard folding the parts of the structure in a certain order. Such a quick change of modes for toys is ensured by the presence of 19 points of articulation. We note in particular that a similar mechanism has not yet been used in older Lego models.
Company LEGO Group while working on this project, she joined forces with the largest American toy company Hasbro. Casey Collins, Head of Licensed Consumer Goods and Business Development at Hasbro, had this to say:
“We are thrilled to be bringing together two of the world’s greatest gaming and entertainment companies to celebrate the arrival of this iconic character, Optimus Prime. We know fans around the world will be thrilled with this collaboration as it allows fans and families of all ages to create memories by working together to create LEGO Transformers Optimus Prime.
The model is collectible and is addressed to fans of constructors of the 18+ age category. The set even comes with a demo plate with information about the transformer Optimus Prime. The novelty will be sold at a price of 169.99 euros (approximately 11,200 rubles).
