LEGO Friends celebrates 10 years
We have already reported that this year the popular series of sets for girls “Friends” is celebrating its 10th anniversary. For this event, the Danish company in toy stores already in January put up for sale 8 new LEGO® Friends themed building sets. They are: 41695 Pet Clinic, 41697 Turtle Rescue ATV, 41700 Beach Camping, 41701 Food Market, 41702 Canal Houseboat, 41703 Friends Tree House, 41704 Large House on Main Street” and 41707 “Tree Planter”. It is clear that the LEGO Group will not stop there, and dozens of new products will appear.
The company intends to celebrate the anniversary date not only with the production of new kits. An example of this is the release of the so-called “Information Timeline”, which visually reflects the development of the LEGO Friends theme from the day the project was developed to the present day. It shows the changes that have taken place over the past decade. Updates concerned, first of all, prefabricated models and miniature figures. The graph reflects the emergence of new sub-themes in the line, as well as objects and things.
It is important that along with all this, every year the Friends play sets became even more realistic. This was achieved due to the fact that the company constantly studied and continues to study the opinion of its consumers. The leaders of Lego do not hide that the success of the series was facilitated by the fact that the company is trying to ensure that the stories of the girlfriends reproduce everyday life as the children themselves see it today. That’s why there are so many themed accessories, details that complement the interior and environment for a real role-playing game in the designers.
Since 2012, the LEGO Friends series has become a universe of its own for millions of girls around the world, where they and their friends go on countless adventures. The most realistic game world helps them understand many life values, first of all, the values of friendship, and awakens in children the desire to do good, instills self-confidence in them. In general, girls learn about the world around them in a playful way.
