Lego Avatar Sets Coming This Year

Avatar Theme last year became one of the most popular among building fans after rumors about upcoming Lego releases. They started talking about her after information about four new designers was leaked to the network:
- 75571 – consisting of 560 parts;
- 75572 – including 572 parts;
- 75573 – complete with 887 parts;
- 75574 – 1212 parts.
At that time, it was not known exactly what specific thematic line they represent. News commentators put forward 2 main versions: either a continuation of the Indiana Jones theme, or James Cameron’s Avatar.
And recently, supporters of the second option received official confirmation of their guesses. In an exclusive interview with License Global, President Walt Disney Company for Consumer Products, Games and Publishing, Stephanie Young stated: The LEGO Group will also have a complete building kit set to recreate and display movie highlights from both the first Avatar movie and Avatar 2.
Considering that the premiere of the new Avatar 2 movie is scheduled for December 16, 2022, the Danish company should release themed sets sometime in October or November of this year. This follows from the past practice of Lego and its partners in similar situations to use the new buildable sets as promotion for the film. Details about what episodes the new designers will be devoted to will most likely become known by the end of summer – the beginning of autumn.
