Which manufacturers of children’s clothing are better

Clothes for newborns should be comfortable: without tight elastic bands on the arms and legs, with external or soft internal seams and secure fasteners. Make sure that it does not press, rub or cause irritation, and the fabric and threads used in sewing consist of environmentally friendly and natural materials, ideally 100% cotton.

To protect your baby and be sure of the choice, buy products only from brands that have earned the trust of consumers.

The best manufacturers are:

1. lucky child. Russian brand that produces clothes for the little ones. Products meet the requirements of Russian GOSTs and have quality certificates. Clothing for newborns is sewn exclusively from 100% cotton, and water-based dyes are used in its production, which eliminates the occurrence of allergies.

How to determine the size of clothes

According to standard markings, sizes for newborns can be 50, 56 and 62 cm. On average, the growth of the crumbs is 50-56 cm, which means that size 56 is suitable for him. Sometimes a baby is born large (about 58 cm), and he needs to buy clothes in size 62. If the cub was born prematurely, and its height is about 48 cm, new clothes of size 50 will be needed.

When buying, keep in mind that the baby will grow up soon and in a month he will need more clothes. Therefore, you should not buy a lot of small things, you may not even have time to use them.

Caps and bonnets should be chosen taking into account the circumference of the baby’s head. It can be 32-40 cm. In most cases, the size will be 36th or 38th.

The size of the socks is determined by the length of the foot, i.e. if the length is 9 cm, then socks are needed in the 9th size. But it will not be superfluous to buy more products for growth.

What clothes will the baby need?

The body of a newborn cannot maintain a certain body temperature, so the baby can easily become overcooled or overheated. To prevent this, you need to use special clothing that protects from the sun, wind and other environmental factors. Therefore, in the first months of life, the baby will need overalls, bodysuits, socks, sliders and vests, caps and scratches.

Bodysuit

These products are necessary for children at any time of the year. Short models are suitable for summer and if it’s hot at home, and long-sleeved bodysuits will be a great help in the cold season. They can be worn with rompers and panties, pry under overalls.

Choose bodysuits that can be easily removed or put on (for example, with buttons). This will make it easier for you to dress your baby or change a diaper.

For summer children, you will need two or three bodysuits with short sleeves, for winter – two models with long sleeves, for spring or autumn – two products with long sleeves and two with short ones.

Beanie

The head of the newborn during the walk and after taking a bath should be closed. Therefore, caps and hats will come in handy. They protect the baby’s head from wind, sun and other adverse natural conditions, and also prevent hypothermia of the fontanel.

For newborns, you should choose products with buttons – thanks to this, clothes can be easily removed, change the diaper and re-dress the baby.

Overalls are also sold, playing the role of outerwear. In their production, waterproof and windproof materials and insulation are usually used: fluff, wool or synthetic winterizer.

If the baby was born in winter, you will need two warm men (for example, from footer or velor), two or three lighter models and overalls with insulation. For autumn and spring children, three light men and insulated overalls will be enough, and for summer children – two slips.

There are romper pants and rompers with a chest and back, which are fixed on the shoulders with buttons, ties or buttons.

Pants are not recommended for children whose navel has not yet healed, as the elastic band can rub on the sore spot. They are also not suitable for children who are beginning to actively move and crawl. Pants slide down and interfere with the cub. Models with a breast and back are more suitable for crawling babies. In this case, it is better to choose products that are fixed on the shoulders with buttons.

It is unacceptable to use models in which the baby bends his fingers or knees, i.e. the length of the foot and trouser legs of the product does not correspond to the legs of the baby. In this case, it must be taken into account that the butt of the cub in diapers fits freely in the sliders.

Mittens or scratches

Newborns develop nails very quickly, so they can accidentally scratch themselves. To protect the cub from their “raging” pens, you need to wear scratches. For the first time, one or two pairs of mittens will be enough for a small boot.
