Collection of minifigures “Lego” will be released in autumn
Most construction fans expected that Lego would release another collection with historical minifigures for the 90th anniversary. Fans predicted the inclusion of such memorable characters as Captain Redbeard, an islander, a classic policeman and so on. Information leaked to social networks suggests that expectations will be justified only partially.
Promobricks thematic blog reports that the collection will still be. But it will be quite a common set. LEGO 71034 miniature figures in the form of costumed characters. At the same time, each of them has little to do with some special memorable event in the history of the development of Lego minifigures.
So, according to Promobricks, there will be 12 minifigures in the 23 series – they will represent the following characters:
- Knight in armor, with a golden helmet and a golden sword. His shield and breastplate are adorned with a classic yellow castle and white horse logo.
- A girl in a green dragon costume.
- Fairy with a white crown on her head and pink wings.
- A girl in a deer costume with a gift box, a printed tile with the image of a heart.
- A Nutcracker/Soldier in a red suit, with a new hat hair combo, and a golden saber.
- A man in a snowman costume with a new head shape with a hat and a broom.
- A girl in a blue robot suit with scissors and an information panel.
- A boy in a “Popcorn Mug” costume.
- A man in a captain/ship outfit with a captain’s cap and a new ship shape fitted between the torso and legs.
- A man in a turkey costume with a new part of the head and tail, limbs made of feathers.
- A girl dressed as an elf with stuffed legs and a snow globe.
- A man in a wolf costume with a sack.
Perhaps this list will upset minifigure collectors. But everything points to the fact that the creators of the new collector’s series organized an “anniversary party” in honor of the 90th anniversary of the Danish company with the participation of unremarkable characters. Considering that the set will be released on the eve of the anniversary date, then in itself such a decision will remain incomprehensible to many fans. Lego.
