A fan of “Lego” submitted a set with Chip and Dale to the competition
Two cartoon chipmunks got a unique chance to return to the fans in the form of Lego set characters. At least, the combined model with their participation passed the first stage of selection among the candidates for new projects of the Danish manufacturer of designers.
The cartoon characters managed to win the hearts of 10,000 visitors to the LEGO Ideas open competition website and advance to the next stage of consideration. Author’s work titled Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers! created by Alex Storozhuk became the 37th project included in the May review.
The author found the main idea in memories from his distant childhood, when he first watched the Disney animated series “Rescue Rangers”. The brave characters of the adventure story, led by Chip and Dale, will forever remain in my memory. Therefore, he decided to recreate the image of chipmunks from cubes. What he did – can be judged by the given pictures.
It should be noted that Alex put his project on public display in February 2020, and only after 785 days did he get the required number of votes in support of the idea.
The set contains approximately 500 pieces. The main model is the rescue aircraft. It is mounted on a demonstration stand in the original form of a white cloud. In addition, the balloon is connected to a special mechanism that allows you to simulate its flight in the air.
The device can be easily separated from the stand and go on a journey with the heroes of the animated film. Moreover, the package of the game set prudently included 5 amazing minifigures.
