The Lego company introduced the release of the set 21330 LEGO Ideas Home Alone, sales of which will open from November 1 this year. This construction set will be the largest in terms of the number of parts ever created by a Danish manufacturer based on fan designs. The constructor was developed by Lego designers based on an idea proposed by 28-year-old Alex Storozhuk from Ukraine.

The model is amazing because it is an exact copy of the home of the large McCallister family, which was remembered from the movie “Home Alone”. The ideal similarity can be seen in all respects, starting with the design and forms, ending with the color palette. And this applies not only to the building under construction, but also to the tree house, the robbers’ van, and finally, the interior furnishings of the rooms.

The latter can be verified due to the fact that the opening mechanism is used in the construction of the walls of the model. Right in the middle, the facade of the house splits into two halves and opens like a large gate on hinges.

This provides a complete overview of the interior space of the building. Namely: planning and interior design in residential and utility rooms on the first and second floors, kitchen, basement and attic (the roof of the house opens separately as a “casket”). Already by a cursory glance, you can determine that in the arrangement and setting, everything also corresponds to the exposition from the film of the same name.

Looking at the toy, anyone who has seen the cult movie will notice a huge resemblance even in the reflection of small objects, things and accessories.

For example:

• the familiar aftershave on the bathroom shelf;
• toy train;
• grandfather clock;
• old record player;
• festively set dinner table;
• Christmas tree;
• and even a can of paint that the smart Kevin uses as a nasty trap for robbers.

It is safe to say that such detailing will give the owner of the game kit the opportunity to recreate many scenes from the movie. Therefore, before starting the game, it does not hurt to watch your favorite comedy again with the whole family, in order to then play the most liked episodes on the desktop game location. At the same time, it will be possible to compare the built house and everything else with on-screen prototypes to once again see how well they reflect the originals.

Undoubtedly, the realistic “screen adaptation” is largely facilitated by the fact that, among other things, the set includes 21330 LEGO Ideas Home Alone all the main characters of the famous Christmas story are included. Five miniature figures perfectly convey the images of the resourceful Kevin, the hapless robbers Harry and Marv, the old man Marley and, of course, the mother of the protagonist Kate, whom the boy must meet at the end of the adventure.

Assembling this set can turn into a real New Year’s Eve event for the whole family. The most important thing is not that it allows you to build a beautiful replica of the house and other models, as well as get hold of interesting minifigures. The main thing is that the common work on this big project will give all household members a truly festive mood. It will be interesting for both children and parents, because the designer will return many adults to childhood, when the unforgettable film “Home Alone” first appeared on TV screens.
