We have already reported about these novelties of technical sets earlier. However, then information about them was available more at the level of rumors and without a description of prefabricated models. We decided to supplement the information, since now the constructors 42144 LEGO Technic Converter Excavator and 42145 LEGO Technic Airbus H175 Rescue Helicopter announced at the official level. This provides an opportunity for fans of technical subjects to get acquainted with extremely curious kits.

42144 LEGO Technic Converter Excavator

The Lego company officially introduced two new summer novelties in the Technic series

The first technical miracle from Lego – This is a great model of a loader-excavator. A red and black mobile excavator is being built on a four-wheeled vehicle structure. Accordingly, in the future, the turns of the equipment will be carried out using the front wheels.

The driver’s cab with an engine and a counterweight at the rear and a long boom on the side is mounted on a movable platform that allows turning in any direction. By the way, the creators of the toy provided for the height adjustment of the cabin, as in real prototypes. The assembly toy corresponds to the real version due to the presence of four retractable side supports, which increase the stability of the equipment.

The modular toy will please the owners not only with technical potential, but rather large sizes:

  • length will be 40 cm,
  • width – 17 cm,
  • height – 33 cm.

The range of the arrow will be almost 35 cm. By the way, as for the arrow, it is fully functional – it lowers / bends and rises / straightens. At the same time, the operability of the lifting boom is ensured by three pneumatic cylinders, the so-called manual control. They also control the mechanism of operation of the 4-claw device for capturing a variety of cargo.

Such technical mechanisms of the assembly toy will allow the child to quite realistically simulate the work of an excavator while loading materials onto a truck.

Kit 42144 LEGO Technic Converter Excavator consists of 835 parts. Price: 119.99 euros (7316 rubles).

The Lego company officially introduced two new summer novelties in the Technic series

Here is a toy! Such an exclamation will become a natural reaction of anyone who is lucky enough to purchase a designer. 42145 LEGO Technic Airbus H175 Rescue Helicopter. Because a model with such dimensions will not leave anyone indifferent. Just imagine:

  • 72 cm long,
  • 13 cm wide,
  • 24 cm – in height.

As a rule, the huge size of the prefabricated toy provides developers with a wide scope for the implementation of creative ideas. The creators of the toy copy made good use of this circumstance to reproduce the original version of the rotorcraft as accurately as possible. At the same time, not only the purely external details of the aircraft, but also its technical abilities.

The main feature of the model should be attributed to the fact that it is equipped with motorized functions. And for the first time in a Lego toy, it features the latest Control+ battery pack. It makes it possible to rotate the main 5-bladed and rear “steering” rotors, and at two different speeds. The blades can be adjusted for tilt using the control knobs located in the cockpit. This allows you to simulate the flight of a helicopter forward, backward, right or left.

Both doors to the cab, as well as the large sliding door to the saloon, open manually. The landing gear of the rotorcraft in “flight mode” is retracted, in the “landing mode” they are released again. Well, what kind of rescue helicopter is it without a winch. The toy has a reel with a rope, at the end of which a hook is fixed, installed above the doors to the salon. The lifting device is working.

Kit 42145 LEGO Technic Airbus H175 Rescue Helicopter consists of 2001 parts. Price: 209.99 euros (12803 rubles).

According to preliminary information, sales of the reviewed constructors will begin on August 1, 2022.
