3rd Brick Train Awards hosting global online train assembly competition legoscheduled for September. As a reminder, this event debuted in 2020 and was a resounding success.
For the last time, more than 750 «brick» trains received awards following the results of an exciting competition. The organizers of this stage hope that participants from all countries and continents will join the new struggle for the main prizes.
In this competition, as in the previous two, only models of locomotives, passenger cars and trains, which are built from parts and sets of motorization and electrification of toys from the Lego brand, will be able to take part. Applications of participants are accepted separately for three regions:
- America,
- Asia,
- Europe.
The main sponsor of the competition is the trading company Trixbrix.eu.
Under the terms of the competition, first, for each region, the best projects of local fans of the design of technical models in 15 categories will be considered and determined. This includes Best Steam Locomotive, Best Diesel Locomotive, Best Electric Locomotive, Best Passenger Car, Best Train, and Best Digital Locomotive. There is a separate award for the best models in a special category for TFOL, that is, created by the hands of teenage LEGO fans.
After summing up the results of regional competitions, the most successful projects go to the finals of the world competition, where the jury of the Brick Train Awards will determine the winners in the world championship. It should be noted that in previous similar online competitions, the main prizes were awarded to the works of authors who presented original models. At the same time, their versions stood out from the rest of the contenders not only as “brick” toys that perfectly copy real locomotives, passenger cars and trains, but also have good gaming potential.
