Promised last year’s release of the «Lego» set with a model Italian motor scooter Vespa Piaggio, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of this legendary vehicle, turned out to be not a myth. Recently, the official presentation of the designer 10298 LEGO Creator Expert Vespa 125. At the same time, all fans of the «world of cubes» literally the next day were in for an unexpected surprise — there was information about the parallel release of the set 40517 LEGO Creator Vespa. We will briefly talk about it at the end of the notes, and we will start an overview of these two new products with the one that is addressed to the adult 18+ category.
The largest constructor consists of 1106 parts. It builds an amazing model scooter in pastel blue, which in itself is extremely rare in prefabricated toys from the Danish manufacturer. But the main beauty is determined by the detailed forms of the toy Vespa, which exactly repeat the design of a real scooter. At the same time, the creators of the copy tried to give the model functionality. Thanks to this approach, the owner of the toy will be able to open the engine cover and examine the motor, really “steer” – the steering is working, and finally put the vehicle on a functioning stand. Plus, there are plenty of accessories in the form of a Vespa logo, a classic Italian license plate from the 60s, a spare tire, a helmet, and a bouquet of flowers in a basket.
The exclusive model of the Italian legend will please fans with its dimensions: the height of the assembled scooter will be 22 cm, length — 35 cm and width — 12 cm. Such a collectible toy will decorate any collection.
And finally, about the constructor 40517 LEGO Creator Vespa. According to the number of parts indicated on the branded box — a little more than 100 pieces, it is immediately clear that this is a small prefabricated kit. It allows you to assemble a portable scooter model with dimensions: 9 cm high, 12 cm long and 6 cm wide. So with it, children can play at home and take it with them on the road. Despite such modest dimensions, the toy perfectly demonstrates the design characteristic of the original.
The start of sales of these sets with Vespa models is promised to open from March 1. Designer price 10298 LEGO Creator Expert Vespa 125 will be 99.99 euros (9360 rubles), and a set 40517 LEGO Creator Vespa — 9.99 euros (935 rubles).
