This summer, Lego is launching the 16th season of the popular Ninjago series, which young ninja fans have already dubbed «crystal». This name alludes to the plot of the Danish manufacturer’s official poster dedicated to the upcoming event.
The poster shows a huge crystal. There are 4 golden Spinjitzu weapons floating around the solid, hit by crystal shards. In the very center of the crystal, the eyes of the protagonist Lloyd are reflected.

In general, already from the pictures with the announcements, it is clear what heroes construction fans will meet in the upcoming season. Several characters from past prefabricated sets will return to the «world of cubes». This season, almost a year of relative calm in the world of young ninjas will be broken. This conclusion is also proved by the first teaser posted on the official Lego YouTube channel.
From it, viewers will learn that a team of ninjas led by Lloyd fall into a trap and end up in a Kryptonian prison. There they become aware of the insidious plans of the mysterious Crystal King, who is recruiting old villains.
Young ninja manage to escape from the dungeons, and the main task for them is to expose the plans of the villain. Now you have to fight with enemies unknown until this time.
Brief cutscenes include Vangelis, the former ruler of Shintaro, regaining his mask and skull mage powers. Lloyd encounters a mysterious creature with glowing eyes. Master Wu blocks Aspheera’s path to the golden weapon. Nya on the high seas encounters a water dragon.
Each episode of the video is a kind of announcement of miniature figures that will soon be found in the designers of the Ninjago series. Even from this information, it becomes clear that the 16th season will be exciting.
