The Danish manufacturer continues to work on improving assembly technologies, including developing parts and elements that are unusual in shape and size. There are enough examples of this. Here is the constructor 40492 LEGO Katrina, which uses updated decorative tiles for the face and torso when creating a miniature figure. Many new pieces included in the Harry Potter set 76391 LEGO Hogwarts Symbols Collector’s Edition.
In 2021, the Lego company released pilot sets, which were updated variations of previously released sets. In them, the models differ from the previous ones in color or in their size. Thanks to this, for example, the owners of a bright yellow model from the constructor LEGO Fiat 500 10271 it became possible to compare the old version of the combined car with a copy of the legendary car, presented in a light blue palette in the new kit LEGO Fiat 500 77942. A similar chance was given to the owners of the fire station, dinosaurs.
Thus, the Danish manufacturer conducted testing to determine the impact of these factors on the consumer demand. At the same time, the researchers tried to understand the preferences of construction fans of all age categories among fans of the “world of cubes”.
