Lego sets for the blind to be produced in China

A special program of the Danish company «Lego» for the production of bricks LEGO Braille was launched in 2019. The new idea has received wide support and practical application in many countries of the world. And now a unique project of the Danes gets a new region for distribution — the idea has found full support in the People’s Republic of China.
The LEGO Group entered into agreements with the China Blind Association and Chinese Braille at the last Shanghai International China Import Expo. According to this document, the Braille Bricks program will soon be officially launched in China. Students of four Chinese schools for children with visual impairments in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Tai’an will be the first to receive the original development and the necessary materials.
Thanks to the program LEGO Braille Bricks hundreds of Chinese children will be able to learn how to assemble their own models from designers, just like ordinary boys and girls do. Unique Lego bricks equipped with Braille will open up a huge world for exciting activities.
