LEGO has a new idea for anniversary gifts

Company Lego I decided in an unusual way to thank my true fans on the eve of the anniversary. The prefabricated kit maker is offering construction fans a chance to try their luck by visiting the brand’s online stores on certain dates, namely July 16, 23 and 30, and August 10. On these 4 days, a limited number of visitors will be able to take part in a gala event called «Celebrate 90 years of fun in the store!».
What is the essence of the proposal? The fact that many fans of the «world of cubes» will have a chance to become the owner of a commemorative red LEGO building block. No, they won’t just give it away. Visitors will first need to collect a “gift” with their own hands in the store, and only then they will be given the opportunity to take the built model home for free. According to the organizers, such a construction event is ideal for children aged six years and older.
Such large-format “bricks” have been familiar to construction fans since 2019. They were first spotted during November’s VIP week as part of an exclusive Gift with Purchase promotion featuring LEGO 5006085 Building Block 2×4 Red«. The following year, at a similar event, they announced a new version called LEGO 6346102 Building Block 2×4 Turquoise. And now the manufacturer of designers offers to build a «brick» for ordinary consumers.
