• Buy an envelope for a newborn in specialized stores. You should not save on the quality of the first outerwear for children, because the health and comfort of the baby depends on it.
• Carefully inspect your favorite model. Make sure the material and seams are soft.
• It is worth considering the individuality of the child. The most impatient crumbs are suitable for models with various fasteners that reduce the time of gathering for a walk. Active kids will feel great in bags with gathers at the waist to prevent twisting. And for kids who like to twitch their legs, it is better to choose products with a wider bottom.

Material

The top layer of the envelope can be made of waterproof synthetic material, but it is desirable that the inner layer (lining) be natural. summer — made of thin cotton fabric, has a sintepon lining. A good choice for babies born between May and September. The summer envelope is intended for temperatures of 15-25 °C.

Important: when choosing a summer envelope, pay attention to the convenience of fasteners. Such a model should, if necessary, be easily fastened / unfastened.

Winter — made of warm materials. Suitable for kids who were born between November and February. The winter envelope is designed for a temperature of 15 ° C below zero.

demi-season — an intermediate option, made of insulated materials. Often supplied with a membrane layer that removes moisture to the outside. Designed for toddlers born in spring and autumn. This envelope is used at temperatures from -10 to +10 °C.

This parameter affects the comfort of using the envelope. There are models with fasteners in the form of zippers, ribbons, buttons, buttons, Velcro.
