«Castle of the Knights of the Lion» made an impression on the public

Recall that in 2021, the Lego company conducted a special survey among its fans. The purpose of the survey was to find out which of the old sets would like to see the re-release of the fans of construction in the year of the 90th anniversary of Lego.
The choice was offered a list with pictures of prefabricated toys from different years. Most of the votes of the poll participants were given for the knight’s castles. The manufacturer of designers went to meet the wishes of consumers. And on June 18 he presented a magnificent designer 10305 LEGO Creator Expert Lion Knights Castle.
The prefabricated model of the fortress of the Middle Ages impresses, first of all, with its huge size:
- building length is 44 cm,
- width — 33 cm,
- height 38 cm.
In this respect, the design is far superior to the distant predecessor from the set 6080 LEGO Royal Castle 1984. It was on its basis that the newly-minted project was developed. A striking difference can be seen not only in the dimensions of the team toy. The most important thing is that now instead of a castle with unattractive gray walls and a pair of shields above the gate, a large, most detailed and colorfully decorated palace appears before the public.
It is interesting that in the old set, contrary to the name «Royal Castle», there was no king. The fact is that at that time there were no royal persons in the “world of cubes” at all. The debut of the first real king with a crown on his head took place only after almost 10 years — in 1995. The designer was not impressed with the total number of characters — only 12 knights.
This is also taken into account in the work on the re-release: now there are 21 minifigures in the toy team plus one skeleton. Among them are representatives of the so-called lion knights and falcon knights, as well as foresters. In addition to people and medieval warriors, the set includes figures of two horses, a cow and a lamb. Thus, in terms of content, the constructor will turn out to be very rich. It is important that the huge territory of the built castle will not be empty, since such a number of characters guarantees that the game location will become very lively.
Constructor 10305 LEGO Creator Expert Lion Knights Castle consists of 4514 parts and is included in the «18 +» sets, that is, addressed to adult Lego fans.
It is reported that sales of new items will start in August, but until September only VIP clients will be able to purchase them in the Lego online and offline store. Taking into account the expected increase in prices for the products of the Danish manufacturer, the price of the kit will be 399.99 euros.
