The toy is packaged in a stylish branded box in a design typical of the entire LEGO Star Wars series. A prefabricated set is intended for an audience over 7 years old.

The front of the box shows a close-up of a fighter jet flying in Kaminoan’s stormy weather. There are also 3 minifigures in the lower right corner.

For the character Obi-Wan, the set includes a reliable blue lightsaber and a brown hood. By the way, the hood is made in a new design and is presented in this shade for the first time. As for the lightsaber, its blade is displayed in a new cloudy style in a translucent blue tone.

The second figure in the buildable set is the R4-P17 astromech droid or simply R4. In 2022, its LEGO parts have been updated. Therefore, now the droid has new prints of the head and body. There are quite a lot of printed elements on the torso of R4, which gives the character an additional appeal.

The back of the R4 body looks more concise. Although some of the newer sets have already featured astromech droids with an improved design on the back.

The third minifigure in the buildable set is Town We character. She stands out from the other figurines by being taller thanks to a brand new head with an elongated neck. Therefore, in comparison with other heroes, it looks head and shoulders above.

Town We’s attire harmoniously combines blue and white. This color scheme makes the appearance of the figure especially spectacular.

From the back, the details of the new head are clearly visible. You can see the printed silver ribbon that wraps around the figurine’s skull. There is also a seal on the back of Town We’s torso, which completes the look of the minifigure.

A transparent round dome covers the top of the cockpit. A feature of this device is the ability to turn forward. This leaves enough space for the pilot. The cab also features a beautiful brick seat with headrest and a slanted control panel with printed pieces.

The rear of the fighter uses green parts and two round yellow 2×2 engines, which are attached with technical pins. Interestingly, the rear fin is assembled using two 4×4 plates pointing in opposite directions. Although this technique is not new, it has proven itself in prefabricated sets.

The top of the R4-P17 is mounted on a turntable on the left wing of the ship, keeping it spinning. A special place is provided in the center of the ship to store the R4 hull. Thus, the safety of half of the body of the astromech is ensured. Without this, it could have been lost when the ship turned around.

The front of the Jedi Fighter has 2 new stud shooters with translucent light green ammo. They come in a noticeable metallic gray color and have a somewhat awkward shape.

The underside of the ship contains some important details. For example, there is one retractable landing gear and two clips for Obi-Wan’s lightsaber.

It should be noted that the wings of the ship are attached using Technic axle connecting beams at an angle. This approach provides a reliable connection, but there is a visual problem …

This is how the ship model looks with the landing gear retracted. At the same time, the back of the ship literally sits on black inverted slopes.

In general, the Jedi fighter looks quite good, although it has problems with formation. For example, the bow of the ship does not taper to the required point.

But most of all, the model has gaps between the wing and the middle section.

These gaps are formed due to the use of technical connectors for fastening the wings. At the same time, they pass along the entire length of the ship.

Particularly worsening the view are the gaps in the front, through which the entire ship is visible through and through. In this case, several plates with guides are clearly missing. Such simple details could hide some of the gaps in the prefabricated structure.

In addition, there is a somewhat awkward slope from the cockpit to the nose — it drops quite sharply in the middle and is completely flat in the nose area. Although for some this problem may seem quite insignificant. Moreover, it is partly caused by the need to install the astromech body in the center of the fighter.

Finally

Despite the shortcomings, in general constructor 75333 Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Jedi Fighter creates the best impression.

I especially like it:

• decent selection of minifigures;
• good appearance of the main model;
• affordable price.

Among the shortcomings, it should be noted, perhaps, the gaps in the structure that form around the wings. Many users still don’t like stickers, but in this set they can be put up with.

In any case, for fans of the Star Wars series, this set will be a good purchase. With it, you can complete your collection of interesting characters in the form of LEGO minifigures. And the main model — the Jedi fighter from this set also deserves the attention of Lego fans.
